RAILWAY TRANSPORTATION

Arlan Trans offers export and import, transit and inside carload forwarding operations by railways of Kazakhstan, CIS and Baltic countries.
We provide a range of services as follows:

Consulting on transportation organizational issues;

Developing of optimum cargo transportation routes;

Prompt computation of freight rates and additional charges (security, insurance and others);

Supply of necessary types’ cars;

Reloading from narrow gauge cars to broad gauge cars at the Kazakhstani-Chinese border;

Cargo tracking en route;

Cargo transportation on own cars with the technical flight service.

CARS LEASE

We lease our own fleet of cars:

covered trucks;

grain hoppers;

cement hoppers;

open cars.

Every day Arlan Trans monitors movements of own rolling stock fleet and performs scheduled maintenance works (overall repair and roundhouse servicing). We provide for flexible system of discounts to our regular customers and guarantee proper service for the entire range of services offered.

CUSTOMS REGISTRATION

Arlan Trans has up and running partnership relations with customs brokerage companies thus enabling prompt customs clearance.
Consulting on customs registration issues:

calculation of customs duties, fees, taxes and other charges, definition of the goods code under the Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature of Kazakhstan;

registration of hard copies of declaration and customs documents (Cargo Customs Declaration, Internal Customs Transit, Declaration of Customs Value, Adjustment of Customs Values, Transaction Certificate)

making soft copies of customs declaration and other documents (Cargo Customs Declaration, Internal Customs Transit, Declaration of Customs Value, Adjustment of Customs Values, Transaction Certificate) for cargo customs registration to remote locations under the client’s order;

full customs clearance of cargoes in accordance with the chosen customs regime (export: Ex-10, Ex-32, Ex-33, Ex-74; import: Im-40, Im-32, Im-33, Im-41, Im-74), receipt of necessary permission letters of customs authorities (registered of foreign trade operator, receipt of one-time only permits for customs clearance in other customs authorities and public organizations (institutions);

addressing set of customs issues relating to interaction with supplier/receiver and freight forwarding company;

registration of all certificates necessary for customs registration within the certification authorities; provision of consulting services on explanation of the applicable customs laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Issue of Certificates of Conformity, permit of the National Security Committee, Phyto-sanitary control, permit of the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Health, Quarantine- radiation, Sanitary and Epidemiological Services, assistance in rating of foreign trade operators to the category of minimal risk;

assistance in obtaining a license for temporary storage.
